Culver City is located in West Los Angeles. East of Baldwin Hills and South of the 10 Fwy, Culver City is a more affordable centralized location in West Los Angeles. With hundreds of movies being produced on the lots of Culver City's studios, this neighborhood is well known for its vast history in film and tv production.

A revitalization took place in Downtown Culver City in the early 2000s giving the city a brand new art scene and newly renovated shopping centers. Throughout the years, the city has continued to grow to form Culver City Arts District and annex over 40 pieces of adjacent land.
